Dr. Kate Gyselinck

Dr. Kate Gyselinck (most refer to her as Dr. Kate) studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph as an undergraduate degree and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010 with honours. She has spent the past 14 years practicing in a small animal practice and emergency clinic in Durham and Kawartha Lakes region. For those who know her, know Dr. Kate is in her “happy place” when in the OR. She loves to do a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries ranging from routine spays/neuters, to more advanced procedures like cystotomy and GI surgeries. When not in the OR, Dr. Kate loves meeting all your furry family members and helping them live their healthiest and happiest lives possible. In addition to general practice Dr. Kate can be regularly found working at the local emergency clinic in Whitby and Peterborough. Dr. Kate, her husband Bill Stock and her two children William and Charlotte share their lives with a bunch of furry family members which includes their 2 large dogs – Rupert and Roscoe, 2 cats Tuna and Sharky (aka Oscar the Grouch), and 2 guinea pigs Halo and Creeper. When not running around to different sporting events for William and Charlotte, they love exploring the outdoors hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, and pretty much any other outdoor activity.
