Dr. Emily Hutcheson studied Animal Biology with Honours at the University of Guelph as an undergraduate degree and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023 with Honours. She has spent countless hours in small animal practice since her Grade 11 high school co-op where her love of veterinary medicine was solidified. Since graduating, she has taken a special interest in small animal surgery and preventative medicine. She is excited to be joining a team that practice high quality medicine and shares a passion for caring for our furry family members.

In her free time, Dr. Emily, along with her partner Zack, can be found enjoying quality time raising their own dog, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, named Norman. As well as caring for her three senior, childhood cats- Tucker, Hutch and William.  Her favourite hobbies include traveling, being outdoors, reading, painting and photography.
